Director Steven R. Satterfield and staff memeber Margaux Auxier:
Director of the Madison Guards Since 2003
Mr. Satterfield is the show designer and director for several High School Color Guards all over the Mid-West. Steve
is not just the guard director at Madison Consolidated High School, but also for the Southwestern High School Color Guard,
Paoli High School Winter Guard, and the Washington County High School Color Guard of Springfield Kentucky. All four
groups made finals this fall in their respective championships. Mr. Satterfield has taught color guard since 1989.
He has taught students from many schools though the Midwest and his groups have won both state and
national championships.
Mr. Satterfield is a graduate of Paoli High School and Indiana University. He aged out of the Bluecoats Drum
and Bugle Corps of Canton Ohio.
Staff:
Margaux Auxier:Former member of the Madison color guard program. Margaux is currently a
member of an independent winter guard from Kokomo Indiana, Usurpation. She is a student at the University of Indianapolis
and has been on Staff at Washington County KY, Southwestern of Hanover, and Paoli.
Kim Reinisch: Former member of the Madison color guard, Kim now lives in California.
She has been on staff with the Madison Guard Programs for the past four years. Kim was a member of the Southwind Drum
and Bugle Corps from Lexington, KY. Kim was a member of the Circle City Performance Ensemble of Indianapolis,
IN. She was a member of the Kentuckiana Dance Studio. She is a recent graduate of Indiana University.
Kim recently married Joey Reinisch also from the Madison Band program.
Stephanie Shaw: Mrs. Shaw has been helping the Madison Guard for the past five years. She
is a graduate of Scottsburg High School, where she was a member of the color guard. Mrs. Shaw is now a Biology teacher
at Madison Consolidated High School and she is the mother of two year old Davey and she is the wife of Josh Shaw.
Both Stephanie and Josh help with several aspects of the Madison Winter Guard. Stepahanie is the Assistant Director
for the Winter Guard program.
